Today: Celebrate Freedom to Read Week at KFPL’s Central Library Branch today (Friday) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Listen to community leaders read from banned books and support intellectual freedom. This event is held in partnership with local libraries and universities.

Tomorrow: Kingston Canada Film Festival presents In Conversation: Jay Baruchel tomorrow (Saturday) at the Kingston Grand Theatre. Moderated by Elamin Abdelmahmoud, Baruchel will discuss Canadian film, television, and more. Part of KCFF’s 25th anniversary. Audience Q&A included. Tickets available at kingcanfilmfest.com.
