Today: Kingston Artists’ Showcase Opening Reception: Celebrate local artistry starting today (Wednesday) from 5-8 p.m., at Market Wing Cultural Space, City Hall, 216 Ontario St. View diverse works and meet artists. All welcome; refreshments provided. Hosted by Kingston Artists’ Showcase.
Tomorrow: The Kingston Public Market is Ontario’s oldest market. Check it out tomorrow (Thursday) from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., behind City Hall in downtown Kingston. Open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the market offers fresh food and community connection since 1801.
Tomorrow: Strings'n Things at Rideau Heights: Kids are invited to explore music with free beginner instruction and group play tomorrow (Thursday) from 4-5:30 p.m., at 85 Maccauley St., Kingston. Adults can borrow instruments year-round for a $25 fee.
