Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town the next 48 hours.
STUFF TO DO
Today: The bilingual Civic Service of Remembrance is on today (Monday) starting approximately at 10:45 a.m. at the Cross of Sacrifice Cenotaph in McDonald Park (located near Murney Tower, on King St. at the foot of George St). We recommend that spectators be in place by 10:40 a.m. to see the parade march on ahead of the service. Starting at 9:15 a.m., wreaths will be laid ahead of the ceremony by community groups, and followed by veteran and military groups at 10:15 a.m.
Today: Remembrance Day Services in Loyalist Township will be held at the Wilton Cenotaph at 10:30, Millhaven Legion at 10:30, and Amherst Island Public School at 1030.
Today: Remembrance Day is being marked in South Frontenac today. Services will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery starting at 10:45 am, Sydenham Cenotaph, starting at 10:45 am, and Verona Cenotaph at 10:45 am.
