Keeping you protected from Crypto scams
It's all about protecting yourself today.
Police services across Canada, including in Kingston and L&A Count are putting out a warning over crypto scams after some local victims lost more than $100,000 to the scam.
You don't have to fall for it if you know what to look for. Constable Sean Keogan says the problem is everything looks official and legit.
Sadly, in most cases there's no way to get your money back. Once it's gone it's gone.
That's why you need to be vigilant. Protect yourself by questioning every investment, because otherwise you'll be dealing with a harsh reality as you look at your fake account.
The bottom line is, if its too good to be true, it is. One invest with people who you can physically meet and do your research before giving away a single dime.
