The healthy benefits of school
KFL&A Public Health's Dr. Piotr (Peter) Oglaza says kids have been back at school for awhile now, and that means they're getting some great social bonuses.
The doctor says even though flu and cold season is beginning to set in, in-person and learning brings some important positives into our kids' lives.
Doctor Oglaza says while they do promote the in-person social experience school brings, they do realize that there is a risk for some.
That said, the Dr. Oglaza says the best place for kids to recover from being sick is home and not at school. He says better to keep them home until they're better.
