You can help make the Inclusive Play Project happen
The Inclusive Play Project of Kingston may be only one year old, but they’ve made a lot of progress in a short period of time. Project Lead Rachael Doornekamp explains how the group started.
Doornekamp explains the purpose of an accessible and inclusive playground.
The budget is set at $1.5M and in collaboration with the City of Kingston the planned site is Shannon Park in the Rideau Heights neighbourhood in the City’s north end. Doornekamp explains the choice of site.
She also says the group is launching a new fundraiser in collaboration with Motion Ball Special Olympics.
You can get more information on the auction at the group's Facebook page found here or their Instagram page, found here.
