Your poppy donations go a long way for our vets
Remembrance Day brings up lots of emotions for Legion members like Stacey Niceliu. He thinks of the good and the bad moments as well as the people he served with, and he says many of them need help.
That's where money raised from poppy donations come into play.
That means that every Poppy you see as you move around the city is helping a veteran in this historical Military city. Niceliu says a process ensures the money stays where it's raised.
He also explains that if money is needed to help a program outside of the region, that is supporting local vets, they are considered too.
Much to consider as residents lay their poppies down at services and ceremonies across the region today.
