What's good in Kingston

Smile Cookies are back at Tim Hortons!

Tim Hortons' second annual Holiday Smile Cookie campaign is back.

From November 18 - 24, all the money raised will be donated to local charities and community groups, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

In Kingston, the Holiday Smile Cookie will help support United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox, and Addington.

United Way KFL&A President & CEO John DiPaolo shared they're thrilled to be apart of this great initiative again this year.

Cookies are $1.50 and will be available at stores across Kingston with proceeds supporting this year’s United Way campaign as it heads into the final weeks with a goal of $3,950,000.

When asked if there was a goal they'd like to reach with this years campaign, DiPaolo said they're competitive in nature and want to do better than they did last year.

But if you don't want a cookie, there are still ways you can support the United Way of KFL&A.

Last year, United Way programs and agencies helped over 71,000 people, including individuals and families dealing with poverty, lack of food, mental health issues, addictions, family problems, and homelessness.
