Stepping up to help the Food Bank - Partners in Mission
In this season of giving, many of us support local foodbanks in a variety of ways. We spoke with Dan Irwin, the executive director of Partners in Mission Kingston Foodbank who provided some insight on his organization’s efforts
Irwin says some clients are trapped in severe food insecurity collecting various support payments. He added that some just get temorarliy behind due to unexpected bills. The process to get help is easy.
He also notes that those people are not alone, as the numbers of those using the Partners in Mission Kingston Foodbank have risen dramatically.
Dan explained the best way the generous people of Kingston and area can help is a monetary donation which allows them to purchase what they need when they need it to take care of pressing needs.
