Kingston Fire and Rescue watching out for your safety over the holidays
If you have family coming over to spend a few days at home for the holidays - give them the gift of comfort at night knowing you have working Carbon Monoxide alarms.
Fire Inspector Sebastian Smiertka with Kingston Fire and Rescue also suggests you test those alarms monthly - and if you haven't done it in a while - now would be the time to do so.
These alarms should located outside of every bedroom, and if the house was built after 2015, it should be in the bedroom as well.
With the heat cranked and people gathering for Christmas - it's more important than ever to make sure those alarms are working properly.
