Kingston shines as little league host
The Canadian Little League Championships continue in the City at Cricket Field. It's semi-final day with the Kingston Colts in the mix looking for a spot in the final.
Kingston Baseball Association President Tournament Chair Tori Boshart says the success of the local team has been welcome turn of events.
The Colts play the team from Alberta at 10 this morning.
The tournament also act as showcase for the city, and Boshart says having the teams here from across the country is an economic bonus too.
Above all else, it's been a great time down at the park, and a perfect way to pass a summer's day.
