Pink Shirt Day—here’s how you can join the fight against bullying
Pink Shirt Day is now a month away. Pink Shirt Day is a yearly event in Canada that raises awareness about bullying. People wear pink shirts and join events to spread the message, particularly in schools.
Big G and Matty spoke with Amanda Guarino from the Boys Girls Club (BGC) South East, who shared this community campaign raises awareness of anti-bullying and the importance of building safe, supportive spaces for children and youth to grow in our community.
If you're in need of a pink shirt to wear on February 26th, Guarino let us know where you can get one of your own.
If you're not in need of a shirt but would still like to support, you can pay it forward.
To learn more or to support, you can visit their online store. Their online store closes February 4th.
