Community Health Clinic a hit at new John Howard Society office
The John Howard Society of Kingston and District hosted a successful preventative health clinic at their new office on 125 Stewart Blvd.
Twenty local residents took advantage of the on-site services, which included support from various organizations.
Participants received assistance from Rideau Community Health Services, the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit, Change Health Care Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health, and several others.
The Brockville and Area Food Bank and Community Paramedics were also present.
The event was well-received, and the John Howard Society looks forward to future clinics. Special thanks to Starbucks at Parkdale for the drinks and Andrew 401 Barber for the free haircuts.
