All together now! Incoming Deputy Medical Officer of Health excited about new Health Unit

Residents won't notice change to service levels, collaboration means improvement

KingstonDaily.ca spoke with incoming Deputy Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li about the merger of the the Hastings Prince Edward, KFL&A Public Health, and her Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit and what it will mean to the people it serves. 

The doctor says the transition won’t disrupt community services.

Public health offices will operate as usual during the initial phase, focusing on internal restructuring behind the scenes.

The Doctor also says she's looking forward to collaborations with new colleagues.
