Nominations are open for the "Best of Kingston & Area presented by Kawartha Credit Union."

Project Lead for WOW FM Tracy McBride tells us about this brand new way to say thank you to local businesses and services, and to honour them for what they do for us each day.  

And those categories cover everything from your favourite restaurant to Kingston's best boat dealer and everything in between. 

McBride says its time to get your favourites nominated. 

That website is bestofkingstonarea.com. 

McBride says your favourite salon, restaurant, mechanic, or accountant (to name but a few of the options) could be nominated in more than one category. 

Take a look at the list of categories on the website and start nominating your favourites here. 

You have until Wednesday August 21st to get them in. The awards themselves will be presented in early 2025 after a process that includes a public vote and questions with the highest vote-getters. 

The winners will be published in a special magazine and on the web on Wednesday January 8th at 12pm. Good luck!
