City wants your thoughts on new multi-sport stadium
The City of Kingston is inviting residents to weigh in on a proposed multi-sport stadium at the Kingston Memorial Centre. A series of engagement sessions will take place in February to gather public input on the Victory Grounds Ventures proposal.
City staff will be available to discuss the project at the Memorial Centre, 303 York St., on Feb. 12, 19, and 26 from 3 to 6 p.m., and at the Memorial Centre Farmers Market on Feb. 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Information boards will also be on display.
This follows City Council’s Jan. 14 decision to explore the stadium’s feasibility. Staff will report back on March 18 with consultation results and potential lease terms.
