Kingston Police community volunteers expand Bike Patrol Team

Over the Canada Day long weekend, residents may have noticed a group of seven Kingston Police Community Volunteers cycling through the west end and other parts of the city.

These volunteers were undergoing training to conduct bike patrols on local trails and streets, enhancing their ability to serve and connect with the community.

With the addition of these newly trained volunteers, the bike patrol team now boasts 18 members. This expanded team will not only be present at special events throughout the city but will also increase their visibility and engagement with citizens during regular patrols.

Kingston Police encourages residents to greet and thank the bike patrol volunteers for their dedicated service when they see them around the community this summer.
