Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard intersection to get a new look
Canadian Tire Real Estate Ltd. is enhancing safety and access for its new development at the corner of Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard and Bath Rd.. Tomlinson Group started work today (Wednesday) will upgrade the intersection at Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard and Elmwood Street.
During the construction, traffic will continue on affected roadways, but sidewalk and partial lane closures will be in place, marked by signage and traffic control workers.
The construction will include the replacement of street lighting, installation of new traffic lights, and the replacement of road asphalt. Additionally, a new multi-use pathway will be built south of the intersection toward Bath Road.
Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and is expected to last approximately 11 weeks, depending on the weather.
