Council boosts idea
Kingston Council is boosting a Car-sharing pilot program to begin midway through 2025.
Council is allocating $20,000 from the cash-in-lieu of parking levies to support this pilot, which is being run by Communauto Inc.
City staff says the money will cover the cost of the required parking spaces and not to the private company.
The pilot program is expected to last up to 18 months.
