Two major awards to be presented
All are invited to join the city of Kingston on Monday, January 27 for the 8th annual Mayor’s Arts Awards reception, where the contributions of local artists and arts supporters will be recognized.
The free event will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall, at Kingston City Hall.
This year, two major awards will be presented: the Creator Awards, which honour artistic merit and innovation, and the Arts Champion Award, which celebrates an individual or group’s dedication to empowering the arts sector.
The Mayor’s Arts Awards highlight the significant role that creativity, innovation, and pride play in Kingston’s arts community.
The city hopes the event will help foster continued growth in the cultural sector, benefiting all residents.
