GoFundMe page created in support
A family in Loyalist Township has been left homeless after a fire destroyed their home just days before Christmas..
Firefighters responded to the blaze near Highway 2, between County Road 4 and Violet Road, around 2 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024. Crews from both Loyalist Township and Napanee worked together to battle the flames. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
However, the family’s home was completely destroyed, and they tragically lost one of their dogs in the fire. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by Dorothy Warren, who identified the victims as her brother and uncle. She explained that they now have to rebuild their lives from scratch.
Warren described her relatives as generous people who would give to anyone in need but are now facing a difficult time themselves.
The GoFundMe page is collecting donations to help the family recover from the devastating loss.
