Vehicle was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes on Boxing Day
Police are looking for witnesses after a silver SUV drove the wrong way on Highway 401 in Loyalist Township on December 26, 2024. The incident happened just after 6:00 p.m. when the SUV was spotted driving eastbound in the westbound lanes before exiting at County Road 6.
The driver has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and stunt driving.
Lennox and Addington County OPP are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses can call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference occurrence E241694379.
