Training will include gunfire sounds
Military police will hold training exercises at Kingston Airport on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The exercises, led by the Aircraft Security Officer Flight, will include officers carrying firearms and firing blank ammunition.
The airport will stay open during the training, and officials say they will try to keep disruptions to a minimum.
The Canadian Forces Military Police thanked the Kingston community and the airport for supporting military training.
Residents near the airport should not be alarmed if they hear gunfire sounds during the exercise.
