Greenwood Medical Centre care expansion bolstered by city grant

$100,000 will make a big difference

Councillor Ryan Boehme joined Greenwood Medical Centre’s physicians and staff to present a $100,000 cheque from the City’s Primary Care Clinic Grant.

This funding will help the clinic hire two additional registered practical nurses and roster an extra 1,200 patients over the next year through Health Care Connect.

As KingstonDaily.ca reported earlier, the clinic’s first rostering day is set for tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 804 John Marks Ave.

Residents without a primary care provider living in the east end catchment area, which includes Middle Road, Abbey Dawn Road, the St. Lawrence River, and the Cataraqui River, are eligible to attend.

This grant aims to improve access to healthcare for Kingston’s east end residents. For more information, residents are encouraged to contact the clinic directly.
