Here we go again: closures on Hwy 401 begin anew

Drivers listen up: get ready for some changes on Hwy 401. 

The Ministry of Transportation's pavement rehabilitations between Westbrook Road and the Hwy 15 Overpass, including the Sir John A Macdonald Overpass are now underway. This work means various lane and ramp closures over the next few months. Here’s what to expect:

Hwy 401 Eastbound - Sydenham Rd On-Ramp (work began last night):

  • July 29: Lane and ramp closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • July 30: Lane and ramp closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • July 31: Lane and ramp closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • August 1: Lane and ramp closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Hwy 401 Eastbound - at Hwy 15:

  • Full mainline closure from July 31 at 10 p.m. to August 1 at 6 a.m.

Plan your travels accordingly to avoid delays.
