Queen’s University ranks eighth globally in THE Impact Rankings
For the fourth consecutive year, Queen’s University has secured a top 10 spot in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, placing eighth globally and second in North America. This achievement distinguishes Queen’s as the only Canadian university to maintain such a high standing since the rankings began in 2019.
The THE Impact Rankings evaluate how effectively universities advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Established in 2015 by UN member nations, the 17 SDGs aim to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all by 2030.
Queen’s impressive ranking reflects its commitment to these global objectives, demonstrating leadership in sustainability and social responsibility among over 2,100 institutions from 125 countries.
