There was lots of hockey talk and excitement building leading up to last nights Four Nations Final between Canada and the USA. But looking back on the games history, you can't take away the fact that hockey got it's start in Kingston.
Hockey Historian Mark Potter says it's in writing,
The game looked a bit different than what we saw last night at the final in Boston,
Mark goes on to add Canada and the US have a rivalry that goes back almost 100 years!
Last night, Canada defeated the United States 3-2 in overtime to win the Four Nations Face Off! Goals for Canada scored by Nathan MacKinnon, Kingston Front's Alumni Sam Bennett, and Connor McDavid with the OT winner!
