The City has a number of changes to be aware of
Kingston residents, take note of the service impacts for the Civic Holiday on August 5.
Garbage, green bin, and recycling collection will shift by one day.
Kingston Transit will follow the Sunday schedule, except Route 18, which will operate on a weekday schedule.
The Kingston Access Bus Services will run with limited service.
All administrative offices, including Housing and Social Services, will be closed. Utilities Kingston and Kingston Hydro will also be closed, but emergency services will be available at 613-546-1181.
Most recreation facilities like INVISTA Centre, Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, and community centres will be closed, but Culligan Water Park and local marinas will remain open.
The Kingston Grand Theatre will host events from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., while the PumpHouse Museum will be closed.
All federal and provincial offices will also be closed as will many LCBO and Beer Store Locations
