Homicide in Kingston: police seek public’s help

Kingston Police are asking for the public’s help in investigating a homicide that occurred near Leroy Grant Drive and MacDonnell Street.

This past Friday evening at around 8:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of a seriously injured person. The victim, a 33-year-old from Kingston, was found with life-threatening injuries.

Despite immediate assistance and being rushed to the hospital, the victim passed away.

The killer is still at large. That said police assure the community that there is no ongoing risk to public safety. However, they are seeking any information that could help solve the case.

No other details have been released. We don't know any more about the victim or how they were killed. 

Residents in the area from Leroy Grant Drive to Alfred Street and First Avenue to Concession Street are urged to check their security or doorbell camera footage for any suspicious activity.
