Hutcheon, Godkin re-elected Chair and Vice-Chair at board’s annual meeting

Two new Trustees welcomed

Robin Hutcheon and Bob Godkin have been re-elected as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees during the Annual General Meeting on Nov. 13, 2024.

They will serve until Nov. 19, 2025, marking their third consecutive terms in these roles.

The board also welcomed two new trustees. Jamie Maracle, appointed by the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, replaces retired Trustee Kelly Maracle as the Indigenous Trustee. Chris Scott joins as the representative for the Loyalist-Cataraqui, Collins Bay, and Bayridge Districts in Kingston, filling the vacancy left by Trustee Judith Brown’s passing on Oct. 11, 2024.

Both appointments were formalized during the meeting, further strengthening board representation and community engagement. Trustees serve four-year terms, with leadership roles elected annually to guide their ongoing work.
