Incredible donation is a huge boost for community project

Kinsmen Club donates $100K to Kingston’s Inclusive Play Project

The Kinsmen Club of Kingston has donated $100,000 to the Inclusive Play Project, a campaign to build Kingston’s first fully inclusive and accessible playground at Shannon Park.

The project, approved by city council, has now raised nearly $600,000 towards its $1.5 million goal. Community volunteers have been working alongside city staff to secure grants, sponsorships, and naming rights opportunities.

“Our club believes every child should experience the joys of childhood,” said the Kinsmen Club. “We’re thrilled to support this important initiative.”

The playground aims to ensure children of all abilities can enjoy safe and inclusive play. Those interested in supporting the project through corporate sponsorships or donations can find details on the Inclusive Play Project’s website.
