Allegedly involved substitute teacher
An investigation is underway into an alleged assault involving a student and a supply teacher at Module de l'Acadie, a French immersion school inside Frontenac Secondary School in Kingston.
The Kingstonist reports, the incident which allegedly occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, involved a teacher who is accused of kicking a student in the abdomen.
Kingston Police have been informed and are investigating the situation.
The Limestone District School Board (LDSB) is also looking into the matter.
Neither the school board or the Police are providing any further information as the investigation continues. We expect an update should charges be laid.
The Board is also conducting an internal investigation.
