The City of Kingston has released the schedule for the 2025 Operating and Capital Budget presentations, including the 2025 and 2026 budgets for municipally owned utilities.
The Mayor of Kingston will present the proposed operating and capital budgets on Monday, January 20, 2025, marking the start of the 2025 Budget meetings.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
Monday, January 20, 2025
Tuesday, January 21, 2025
Wednesday, January 22, 2025 (if required)
All meetings will begin at 6:00 PM and will be held in the Council Chamber at City Hall, located at 216 Ontario Street.
Residents are encouraged to submit written comments regarding the budget to the Office of the City Clerk at 216 Ontario Street, Kingston, ON K7L 2Z3, or by email at cityclerk@cityofkingston.ca.
Individuals who wish to address Council during the meetings must request delegation status through the City’s website: https://www.cityofkingston.ca/council-and-city-administration/council/speaking-to-council/.
