City endorses Watson and Associates report
Kingston council endorsed the Watson and Associates report calling on housing intensification and expanding city boundaries during a marathon meeting Tuesday.
Mayor Bryan Paterson says boundary expansion can be done smartly.
Paterson says this is a data-driven necessity.
The consultants say expanding boundary limits by at least 340 hectares in addition to creating different housing types in select locations will address the population boom.
