A mystery Lotto Max winner has been found. Steven W. recently claimed his $1 million prize from the July 26th draw. The lucky ticket was purchased at the King Mart on King Street in Kingston.
“I was at the store scanning my ticket on the ticket checker. When I saw the prize amount, I think I scanned it six more times,” recalled Steven, while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up his windfall. “The lady waiting behind me even asked, ‘Is that what I think it is?’ and we shared a laugh. I think I was frozen with disbelief!”
But the excitement doesn’t stop there—another winning ticket worth $500,000 is still unclaimed somewhere in the city.
Kingston residents are encouraged to check their tickets, as the search for the other big winner continues.
