This project received over $4 million in funding from the City of Kingston, the Province of Ontario, and the Government of Canada, along with land contributions from the city.

Occupied since May 2024, the development was officially celebrated at an opening event on September 18. Dirk Deboer, President of Kingston Co-Operative Homes, expressed excitement about welcoming new members and strengthening the community.

Kingston Mayor Bryan Paterson praised the project as a vital addition to the city, turning a vacant lot into a vibrant community space.

Established in 1985, Kingston Co-Operative Homes now manages 140 affordable homes.
