Kingston councillors approve funding for new sleeping cabins project
It was a nearly unianimous decision to support a new project to set-up sleeping cabins.
Kingston city councillors gave a greenlight to spend up to $500,000 to the proposed Crossroads Village project at a meeting on Tuesday.
The vote was 12-1.
The money is going to back a proposal from 'Our Livable Solutions' to set up the sleeping cabins on a parcel of land behind Crossroads United Church.
