All will improve their communities
The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area has awarded over $332,000 to 23 local projects through its Fall 2024 Community Grants Program.
This funding, contributed by 84 donor Funds, supports initiatives addressing mental health, environmental stewardship, and essential resource access. It’s the second-largest single grant round since the program began in 1995.
“These projects showcase the innovation of local organizations in tackling urgent needs and emerging opportunities,” said Stacy Kelly, Executive Director.
The grants prioritize community resilience, focusing on fostering connections and equipping Kingston and area communities to respond to challenges.
The Foundation will launch its next grant round in February 2025, with further details to come.
“Supporting these initiatives strengthens resilience and belonging, offering lifelines and solutions to pressing challenges,” Kelly added.
