The Celebrating Kingston Women event will take place Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Central Branch. The free event is hosted in collaboration with several local organizations, including Kingston Interval House, Sexual Assault Centre Kingston, and Kingston Immigration Partnership.

Guests will enjoy performances by Poet Laureate Sadiqa de Meijer, musician Yu Chen, singer Inna Leshchuk, and dancer Shirley Li. The event will also feature Indigenous storytelling, a presentation by the KIP Newcomer Sewing Group, and a talk by entrepreneur Martha Williams.

A social mixer and art display will kick off the evening, and light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, and registration is encouraged.
