Kingston man wins $50,000 lottery prize after a lucky shopping trip

Winning ticket purchased at Parkway Grocery on Princess Street

Kenneth Babcock of Kingston is $50,000 richer after winning the top prize with the INSTANT $50K CASINO game. The retired father of two and grandfather of four has been playing the lottery for over 30 years.

On a routine trip to the store to buy a bottle of pop, Babcock ended up purchasing an INSTANT ticket instead. Initially thinking he’d won $5,000, he later realized it was actually $50,000.

His excitement spread quickly, with the store clerk and owner sharing in his joy. Babcock’s children were shocked when he revealed his winnings.

With his prize, Babcock plans to pay bills and save for the future. He bought the winning ticket at Parkway Grocery on Princess Street.
