Kingston Police, OPP and Smiths Falls Police Service nab suspect

The forces executed a high-risk takedown in Kingston on Wednesday

A high-risk takedown in Kingston Wednesday has resulted in a 28-year-old man from Drummond/North Elmsley in Lanark County, north-east of the city, facing several charges.

The OPP alongside Smiths Falls and Kingston Police worked together to locate and arrest Brett Harrigan near the intersection of Concession and Victoria Streets.

There were no injuries.

Harrigan had multiple arrest warrants issued and among the included charges are sexual assault and two counts of assault with a weapon.
