Kingston Police seek public's help after east-end break and enter

Two out of three suspects in custody

Kingston Police are asking for help from the public after a break and enter in the city’s east end.

On September 28 at 10:30 p.m., three suspects entered a home near Highway 2 and Rogers Side Road while the homeowners were inside. When a family member confronted one of the suspects, the suspects tried to escape in a vehicle.

The homeowner blocked their path using a vehicle at a nearby cul-de-sac, but an unknown driver in a pickup truck crashed into the homeowner’s car, allowing two suspects to escape. Police arrived and arrested two suspects, but a third suspect and the truck driver got away.

Officers are looking for a 2016-2017 Dodge Ram truck, likely dark or red in color, with heavy front-end damage and a missing headlight.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kingston Police or provide anonymous tips by calling 613-549-4660 ext. 0.
