Kitchener man arrested in major drug bust
A months-long investigation by the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit led to the seizure of $100,000 worth of cocaine on December 22, 2024. Officers stopped a vehicle at Division Street and Highway 401, driven by a 42-year-old Kitchener man. A search revealed a large quantity of the illicit drug.
The man was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking a Schedule 1 substance. Kingston Police have expressed concerns about the influx of drugs from outside the community, which can signal organized crime and pose risks to public safety.
Police are asking the public to report any information related to the sale of illicit drugs.
