A faster, more convenient way to pay
The City of Kingston has expanded HONK to on-street parking, offering a fast and convenient way for drivers to pay.
This cashless system allows users to pay via the HONK app or by scanning QR codes posted at parking spaces. Visitors or occasional users can skip downloading the app by accessing a guest checkout page directly on their phones.
The HONK app provides advanced features like storing multiple vehicles, managing receipts, and extending time remotely. Payments can be made using cash, debit, credit, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
“This expansion improves the parking experience for residents and visitors,” said Laird Leggo, Kingston’s Parking Manager.
HONK CEO Michael Back added, “We’re making parking stress-free with flexible, contactless payment options.”
