Kingston to host International Student Symposium

This is an event designed to support students as they build connections and prepare for life after graduation.

On Wednesday (March 5th), international students in Kingston will come together for the International Student Symposium.

This is an event designed to support students as they build connections and prepare for life after graduation.

Hosted by the City of Kingston, KEYS Employment and Newcomer Services, and Kingston Immigration Partnership, this year’s symposium is centered around the theme, "Building Community and Navigating Life After Graduation."

Taking place at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, the full-day event will feature a panel discussion with international alumni, a keynote address, a community resource fair, and a presentation on immigration pathways for students looking to stay and work in Canada.

These sessions provide international students with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and access to key community services.

Now in its second year, the symposium continues to build on its mission of helping international students integrate into the Kingston community by connecting them with volunteer opportunities, essential services, and mentors who have successfully navigated the post-graduation transition.

The event is made possible thanks to sponsorship from Agnew Foods and RBC Foundation, demonstrating strong local support for international students as they plan their futures in Canada.
