Kingston wants your input on how the city will grow and move

It's easy - just a few clicks on a survey

The City of Kingston is asking residents to help shape its future. A new survey on Get Involved Kingston is open until March 7, giving people a chance to share their vision for the next 25 years.

The survey will help guide two key projects: the new Official Plan and the Integrated Mobility Plan. The Official Plan will decide how land is used and where buildings are built. “It sets the framework for sustainable growth,” said Laura Flaherty, a project manager with Planning Services.

For the first time, Kingston is developing the Official Plan alongside a mobility plan that will shape future transportation. “This survey is a critical opportunity to shape how people move around the city,” said Matt Kussin, Manager of Transportation Policy.

Public engagement started in 2024, and more input will be collected as planning continues. Residents can learn more at Get Involved Kingston.
