How do the city's assets look these days?
Well, according to the latest asset report, 40% of the City of Kingston's assets, worth $1.3 billion are considered to be in very poor condition.
The staff report says the bulk of these properties were categorized as very poor due to the assets life cycle, not necessarily condition.
Still, Councilor Don Amos recognizes the uphill battle.
