Program helps initiatives to better life in the Township
Local community groups and organizations in Loyalist Township can apply for funding to support projects that benefit the area. The Community Grant Program is now open for applications, with a deadline of October 1st.
The program provides financial assistance for initiatives that enhance community life. A recent recipient, the Amherstview Lions Club, received grants in both 2023 and 2024 to fund the annual Santa Claus Parade. The grant helped cover costs for trophies, costumes, bands, and candy canes.
Groups with similar projects are encouraged to apply and make the most of this opportunity. The funding can help sustain or grow programs that make a difference in the community.
