Roy Snyder was found not guilty in the stabbing death of David "Jaeger" Hodgson
Less than three weeks after being found not guilty of second-degree murder, Roy Douglas Snyder has been arrested again in Kingston. Snyder was acquitted on July 31, 2024, for the death of David "Jaeger" Hodgson, who was fatally stabbed outside Kingston's Integrated Care Hub (ICH) in January 2022.
On August 14, 2024, Snyder was arrested at the same location for an alleged assault, although no weapon was involved. Kingston Police confirmed the arrest and stated that Snyder has been charged and banned from returning to the ICH.
Following his arrest, Snyder was taken to Kingston Police Headquarters, where he was held for a bail hearing. He has since been released and is scheduled to appear in court in September 2024. This recent incident has raised concerns in the Kingston community about safety and justice.
