
Fentanyl, cocaine, and meth seized
Two people are facing charges after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) seized fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine during a drug investigation in Amherstview.
On February 5, 2025, officers from the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit, along with Lennox & Addington County OPP, the Emergency Response Team, and the Canine Unit, executed a search warrant at a home on Huff Avenue and conducted a traffic stop on Amherst Drive.
Police seized nearly 28 grams of suspected fentanyl, 46 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and 43 grams of suspected cocaine, along with a vehicle and drug trafficking-related items.
Darcy Hartwick, 22, of South Frontenac Township and Raven Hatfield, 37, of Loyalist Township are both facing three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. Hatfield was also charged with operating a vehicle while prohibited.
Both accused remain in custody pending a bail hearing in Kingston.
